Now whole food vitamins are one of my top recommendations because they actually come from whole food. So you’re not really getting the synthetic side of vitamins which come up a lot of bad press. Meaning synthetic vitamins can be bad for your health when taken in excess. So whole food based multivitamins are considered safer because you’re getting the whole food component in there. My top recommendations aside from a whole food based multivitamin are fish oil, Siberian ginseng, spirulina, whey or brown rice protein powders, and one of my favorites of the moment, maca root powder. I find that whole food based vitamins contain a synergy of nutrients and not just one isolated vitamin that again if you take two much of a good thing can be bad for your health.
