Ideas for a High Protein & Dairy-Free Breakfast (Video)

Hi, my name is Stella Metsovas, and I’m a globally recognized nutrition and health expert. Today, I’m going to show you how to make one of my favorite breakfast recipes or lunch or dinner, it’s up to you. Eggs cooked in a cupcake pan. Eggs are super nutritious. I’m using turkey bacon here. My nonstick pan is already heated up to high heat. I’m going to put the bacon to cook all the way through. It actually comes precooked the turkey bacon that I’m using. But if you are using traditional bacon just make sure you cook it thoroughly. One of my favorite ingredients to use especially in the morning are eggs. Eggs cost about 25 cents an egg. Super nutritious. High in vitamin D, something that is lacking in our bodies today. I’m sure you’ve all heard about about vitamin D deficiency. One of these little guys contains a super good amount of vitamin D. Naturally occurring vitamin D. So you can’t just take a supplement. You have to include foods that are nutrient rich. You are going to want to get a goat cheese. It’s my favorite cheese to use in this dish. You could use any cheese you like. And some fresh thyme and chives. Two of my favorite combinations of herbs to use. Alright the turkey bacon is now done. You are going to want to remove it from the pan. Try to make sure it’s organic. I’m a big fan of organic bacon. Now you are going to want to let it cool. You are going to want to cut it into three parts. Alright and I’ll show you why. What I want a section to remain, smallest part down the middle. This is going to hold the egg in place when you bake it. Don’t forget keep your oven at 350 while we are doing this. This is a great dish to also give kids. It looks really cool once it’s done. Again, you can use any cheese you like. My favorite combination is goat cheese and chives. Okay. Now kind of gently place the egg in the cupcake dish. Oh there we go barely made it. Okay now we have the goat cheese. And I just generously crumble on top. Now, I’m going to take just a tiny bit of fresh chive. So pretty. Now they’re ready to be put in the oven at 350. Allow it to bake for about 15 minutes. Watch and see what happens next. So they are finished the egg cupcakes. Hmm, smells amazing. Okay, so now this super healthy and flavorful dish is ready. I like to put a tiny bit of black pepper, some fresh goat cheese. And of course a little bit of olive oil. And there you go. So beautiful, so good. I’m going to take a bite.
