What to eat when you have a headache
Kill your headache by hydrating it with water- and nutrient-rich foods like watermelon, says Stella Metsovas, B.S. C.N., a nutritionist in Laguna Beach, California. “The high water content in watermelon and other fruits and veggies can soothe a headache, as can their rich source of essential minerals such as magnesium, also key to stopping a throbbing headache,” she says. Other foods with high water content? Cucumber, melons, tomatoes, berries and lettuce.
